Clinical medication review

A doctor registered in Spain reviews your current treatment and the records you can provide. The consultation is about whether continuing that medicine is appropriate, not an automatic refill.

Medical decisions are made by the clinician after assessment. Not an emergency service.

Continuity of care starts with the right information.

This service is for medication you are already taking. The doctor needs to understand why it was prescribed, how you take it, whether anything has changed and whether continued treatment remains suitable.

Bring the original prescription or a clear photo of the packaging, along with any recent medical letter or relevant test result. Some medicines and situations require a different assessment. A new prescription is issued only if the clinician is satisfied it is appropriate.

The details your doctor needs.

A repeat prescription review starts with your treatment history. Choose what you have available and see how to prepare.

Bring the clearest copy you have.

A recent prescription helps the doctor confirm the medicine, dose and previous instructions. Also mention any changes in your health or other medicines since it was issued.

The doctor may request more information. A prescription is issued only when clinically appropriate.

    Good to know

A review is not a guarantee

Booking does not guarantee a prescription, a particular medicine or a particular dose. If you are running out of an essential medicine, tell the team before booking so they can advise on the appropriate route.
